The General Directorate of Police provided training to students of Onbeş Kasım Cyprus University on residence permits, traffic safety, and prohibited substances.
A comprehensive information training session was conducted by the General Directorate of Police for students of Onbeş Kasım Cyprus University on residence permit processes, traffic safety and awareness, and the prevention of the use of prohibited substances.
The training aimed to provide students with accurate and up-to-date information about legal and administrative processes related to their lives in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, to increase their awareness of traffic rules, and to strengthen their understanding of prohibited substances that threaten public health and safety. Various issues that students might encounter in their daily lives were addressed.
The training specifically covered residence permit procedures and legal obligations, compliance with traffic rules and safe driving awareness, the social dimension of traffic safety, and the individual and societal risks of prohibited substances. The program, which also included answering students' questions, contributed to mutual information sharing and awareness building.
At Onbeş Kasım Cyprus University, we consider the development of our students' legal responsibilities, social awareness, and awareness of safe living, as important components of higher education, not only in their academic and professional development but also in their overall well-being.
We would like to thank the General Directorate of Police, the personnel involved in the training program, and all the officials who contributed to this valuable training, which helps our students live their lives as safe, conscious, and responsible individuals.
