TURKISH TEACHING APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER (TÖMER)
The Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center provides high-standard, academically oriented, and qualified language education to international students, scholars, academics, and researchers who wish to learn Turkish as a second or foreign language. Our center does not view language teaching as merely imparting theoretical grammar rules. Instead, it places a holistic, interactive, and intercultural learning approach at its center, introducing Turkish culture, rich history, literature, artistic heritage, and daily social lifestyle.
Education conducted within TÖMER is structured across all levels from A1 breakthrough level to C2 mastery level, in full compliance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards. In our smart classrooms where contemporary language teaching technologies, multimedia tools, and communicative methodologies are effectively applied, the four fundamental language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing are developed in a balanced and simultaneous manner. The center guides international students in adapting to academic course processes and the local social environment quickly, confidently, effectively, and seamlessly.
